My Story
I started writing at a very young age, but it was a heartbreak and a divorce that made me take writing seriously as a profession.
My first book Hrudayam Pottippoya Kkashanangal (poetry) grew out of my own healing journey during therapy. What began as a way to understand and express what I was going through eventually became a book. Since then, I have written and published five books.
My experiences with publishing also shaped what I wanted to do next. After facing disappointments with publishers, particularly around royalties, author benefits and the overall publishing process, I decided to start my own publishing house, Divyaverse Publications.
Since then, I have published my first novel, Marannu Vacha Hrudayam, which became a bestseller. I completed Ettavum Ilaya Kutti through a writing challenge, writing the book in just 20 days. I also wrote a book about my cancer journey, Chitrashalabhangale Vida, in only two days after surviving thyroid cancer.

“You hold the story only you can tell. Write it.”
My Mission
My mission is to help people write and publish their stories in their own way, without being judged or forced to change their genuine language, identity or voice. Through Divyaverse Publications, I work with aspiring and established authors at different stages—from developing an idea and planning a book to author coaching, writing workshops, professional editing and proofreading, and finally publishing.
I believe you do not need a particular academic background or qualification to be a writer. Every person has a story, and every voice has a place in literature. Writing is also a politics of its time. The books we create reflect the people, experiences, struggles and social classes of the era we live in. That is why I want to make space for different kinds of stories, rather than expecting every writer to fit into the same language, style or idea of what a “good writer” should be.
Writing changed the way I understood my own story. Now, I want to help others find the confidence, structure and support to write theirs—while keeping the voice that makes the story truly theirs.
