When I started writing poems during my life coaching and therapy sessions, publishing a book was the last thing on my mind. Back then, my focus was on something far more personal: healing from the pain of a relationship breakup and rediscovering myself.
Like many, I struggled to process my emotions and move forward. Since I found little external support, I sought guidance from a life coach. Her advice was simple yet powerful—write down your emotions. Journaling, she said, could be a safe outlet for my pain and confusion.
Writing had always been a part of me since childhood, so I embraced her suggestion wholeheartedly. But instead of keeping a conventional journal, I began penning poems. In my native language, Malayalam, the words flowed like a balm to my soul. At first, they were raw, drenched in pain and sorrow. These poems captured the anguish I was trying to navigate.
As I continued, something miraculous happened. What started as a coping mechanism began transforming me. The pain etched in my words softened. Slowly, those sorrowful verses turned into healing poems. They captured my journey of mending my heart, finding closure, and eventually, forming a new and beautiful relationship—with myself.

Days turned into months, and by the end of my sessions, I was left with not just a healed version of myself but a collection of poems that chronicled my journey. These weren’t just words on paper; they were pieces of me, reflections of my struggle and growth.
That’s when the idea struck—why not share this with others? I decided to compile these poems into a book. That decision marked the birth of my first book, Hrudayam Pottippoya Kashanangal. Holding that book in my hands felt like a milestone. It wasn’t just a book; it was a testament to resilience and transformation.
After the book's release, I realized how much joy and fulfillment writing had brought into my life. More importantly, I discovered my niche—not just as a writer but as someone who could guide and inspire others to tell their stories.
This newfound purpose led to a conversation with Ajish, my partner. Together, we envisioned creating a space where budding writers could bring their dreams to life. That vision became Divyaverse Publications.
Today, as a writer and co-founder, I see Divyaverse as more than a publishing house—it’s a sanctuary for dreamers. It’s where stories of resilience, passion, and creativity take shape, just like my journey did.
Looking back, the journey from heartbreak to healing, from journaling to publishing, was unplanned but profoundly life-changing. It taught me that sometimes, the most unexpected paths lead us to our true calling.
If you’ve ever thought of sharing your story or creating something meaningful, trust that your words have the power to heal—not just others, but yourself. At Divyaverse, we’re here to help you do just that.
